Overlooking the Rietspruit and Umgeni Valleys in the Natal Midlands, The Hilton Bush Lodge is located in Hilton. Pietermaritzburg is 22 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site.... The property was beautiful. We loved the view of the waterfall, and if you ask the host, they will tell you how to hike down to it. We saw wildlife and tons of birds. It was quiet and we felt very safe and as a special bonus of the floors were heated. Wonderful especially in winter.

The breakfast was delicious and sitting out in the sun on the long verandha while having breakfast was a bonus. Staff were so friendly and helpful, fun as well. Although we are not golfers we felt very welcome.

We loved this lucky find - River Bend Farm was just gorgeous- the endless views of hills, trees and river are stunning. The accommodation is super comfortable and the shower was bliss! My daughter and I loved our short stay, as did our spaniel.
