Set in George in the Western Cape region and Outeniqua Pass reachable within 19 km, Buff & Fellow Eco Cabins offers accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. The accommodation has a hot tub. We had a wonderful stay in Eco Cabin 1. The views of the animals across the lake and behind the cabin are spectacular. The cabin itself is very comfortable, a bit cold in August but fortunately the fireplace heats it up quickly and there are extra warm blankets for the beds. The bad and hot tub were a nice extra luxury. We were with our 3 year old daughter and the cabin was also nice for her and even had some kids plates, cups and cutlery. It was a nice way for her to see the animals too.

The spacious rooms and suites are individually decorated and filled with light. Some rooms have fireplaces and offer scenic views. The elegant bathrooms have floor heating and heated towel rails.

Shuttle services are available on request. Plettenberg Bay Airport is 85 km away, while the Port Elizabeth and George airports are both within 180 km. Beautiful location , excellent food and amazing staff.

Each room and chalet at Garden Route Game Lodge offers either views of the mountains or the valley. They are elegantly decorated with thatched roofs and wooden furniture. All of them have TVs with digital channels and a safe. Amazing place where you can rest, see animals in their natural habitat and eat great food. From the moment you pass through the gate everything is organised for you. The staff are so welcoming and attentive. The game drivers are so knowledgeable and engaging. We should have stayed more than two night’s! Our son , who is 9 years of age happily got up at 6 AM to go on a game drive . We all loved it. One of the most memorable experiences we had as a family!

With Goose Valley Golf Club reachable in 14 km, Knysna Elephant Park Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. We liked the whole experience. Room perfect. Elephant viewing area perfect. Breakfast and other meals in the restaurant perfect. You can go and feed the elephants any time you want (at 30-minute intervals) during the day. We also took a walk with the elephants at a reasonable extra cost (limited availability so you must book well in advance). Staff were super friendly.

The air-conditioned chalet consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and 1 bathroom with a hot tub and free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are available in the chalet. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. We really enjoyed our vaca. Highly recommend.
