The location was perfect for us to explore the village on a scooter/motorbike (which they have available for rent). It's in a quiet neighborhood on a hill, which is located in hidden valley. The landscaping and grounds are beautiful with an abundance of flowering plants, and jackfruit trees that make the property feel like an eco-resort. The staff works tirelessly to keep everything in perfect condition - everyone seemed to be working around the clock. The included breakfast was very good — with a choice of a beverage and a choice of food and always served with a plate of fresh fruit. We also enjoyed a couple of other meals there and everything we ordered was delicious. Most of all our host, Mr. Chilly was everything you could ask for in a great host. He was super-friendly and assisted us with anything we needed from providing suggestions for things to do in Cat Ba to arranging travel for us back to our Hanoi . We would highly recommend Lan Homestay and will stay here again next time we come to Cat Ba.

The stay was amazing. The vibe in the place is so good. We booked for one night, but after seeing the place, we have extended for one more day. The price is very reasonable. Our host Son is very friendly and helpful. And most beautiful thing is that they have pets one dog and 3 cats. They are friendly and you feel loved. Overall we had a very beautiful experience. The property manager resides at the property, who is very knowledgeable and shares it with patience if you have time 😀
