The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the surrounding countryside is simply stunning. Honestly, we've never seen so many different butterflies and dragonflies, could've just sat all day watching them 😍 Even better, there were 2 little black kittens there and I managed to have a cheeky cuddle with both of them 🤭 All of the staff did their absolute utmost to ensure we were fed and happy during our stay ❤️ the language barrier was not a problem at all thanks to interpreter apps on our phones, gotta love technology! They also arranged for a taxi back to Hanoi in 10 mins. I'll absolutely be recommending this place to anyone I know who'll be visiting Hanoi/Northern Vietnam in the future. Thank you so much!

Know that this is a somewhat clean, budget hotel--very basic. There were no restaurants nearby that were open for business while we were there. Thankfully, we were able to eat lunch in Ao Vua itself, as there are a couple of restaurants along with several vendors selling snacks and drinks inside.
