Win and his family are really nice. He is so patient and gives me lots of useful suggestions. He also teaches me how to drive a motorcycle. The LanHa Bay tour is great! Someone pick us up at Green Homestay and take us back after it's over. Win told us if we can drive motorcycle we can go to the national park by ourselves and so we do that, what a great experience when you drive between the mountains and fields. The foods they serve are delicious too! We stay here 3 nights and everyday when we back we have a very clean and tidy room. There are beautiful garden rooms and beautiful swimming pool here, if any of my friends come to CatBa Island I will recommend them to live here. And you can pay by credit card here and 3% fee is totally okay because we don't have much cash and you can't find any place to change money in this island even though the bank we find on the center of town. Everything in Green Homestay is best Wi-Fi ,hot water ,food, environment and people. My mom really loved there and said this place is like a paradise on earth. Win also helps me book bus ticket when we back to HaiPhong and told me how far is it from the bus station to the room we live in HaiPhong and how much it will cost if we take a taxi to our room. That's really helping me from cheating by the taxi driver like what happened in Hanoi. Thanks to Win and his family again! This place is a hidden gem in Cat Ba island. The bungalow was just awesome, the pool was amazing. Only thing you should consider is that it is about 20 min drive from the main town, you can rent a motorbike here and that was just another great experience, but if you do not drive it can be a bit more difficult for you to move around, although the taxi is always an option. For us, this was the best accomodation in our 2 weeks holiday in Vietnam and the only bad thing was we could not stay longer than 2 nights. We really loved it here!

We had an incredible experience at Spring Garden Homestay near cat ba. It was absolutely stunning. Linda, our guide, went above and beyond to assist us with everything from laundry to organizing trips to the countryside. The location of the Homestay was truly remarkable, just a few meters away from the cat ba Town and about a 20-minute drive away. It was peaceful and beautiful, far superior to staying in town. I highly recommend it and would definitely visit again. Additionally, Linda helped us plan a fantastic trip to As Pa directly from the home stay. It's nearly impossible to find a better host than her.

The property is conveniently located very adjacent to many of the incredible sightseeing venues. It is extremely clean and there is always staff available to facilitate any of your needs. It is peaceful and quiet. It is set is on a large property surrounded by incredible gardens with a lovely pool just steps from the dinning area that flows organically right through it and throughout the property.

This is a wonderful little gem of a homestay away from the messy town of Cat Ba. Just getting to Viet Hai Village is already a treat as you get a beautiful boat ride through the bay. You can make this ride part of the day cruise or sunset cruise that the homestay organizes so be smart , reach out to them and make each ride a memorable souvenir. You are here to see the bay after all. We went for two nights and we were on the water all three days and also hiked ! The room is very comfortable, the food is good , the setting is unbelievable. Book all your meals with them. The settings is gorgeous with gardens and little places to sit and enjoy the surroundings . We recommend that you do the activities recommended by Chilly, the manager. We booked the sunset and kayak activity on the day we arrived so they picked us up in Cat Ba town directly around 3pm : a perfect intro to the place and then you are dropped off at the hotel direct so it takes care of ride as well. Another full day on the bay is worth it also. Then if you have three hours for an inland activity, go up Navy peak and see the caves close by : you get views on the Bay and a feel for the jungle around. Please note the hike is a bit of a scramble and goes straight up for 45 min to an hour so you need good shoes and be healthy. A bike ride on the island as also a must. Chilly will communicate with you right away and do not hesitate to ask what you have in mind and he will make it happen. For the return to Cat Ba town at the end of our trip, we took the “slow” ride instead of speed boat and this was another mini cruise going through floating village and by the monkey island so we highly recommend making the “to and from” the homestay part of enjoying the bay. Please note Cat Ba town is under major construction and is not attractive at the moment. Viet Hai is 1000 times better and away from all the mess. A gem!

This little beach bungalow was amazing. It was super clean and cute, and even the towels smelled amazing. The beach that this bungalow is located on is very beautiful. It's just outside of town, so it's nice and quiet, but close enough to walk into town if you wanted. Our host was very kind and accommodating. We rented scooters through him for a very reasonable price, and he had them dropped off at the bungalow for us. Highly recommend this place!
