The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. This property was such a nice surprise, the beds were comfy and the breakfast was delicious! We loved all the gardens and the common area was a nice spot to have breakfast and relax. The room was spacious for our family of 4. We were in the Crater Room.

The lodge offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. Absolutely loved it here! Great location for visiting the national park and it was super cool to listen to the rainforest sounds at night outside the property. Very clean, great shower and useful to have the mini kitchen with fridge and microwave. Staff were very responsive and helpful regards check in as we were a last minute booking. Highly recommend! Great value as well.

Do not stay here. If you do... Well, I might have a harder time getting a room and/or paying more. So, yeah, definitely do not stay here. 😉
