The bed was very comfortable and modern with elevation that you can adjust and watch the nice view of the lake from your bed. The owners Cecilia and Mikael where very nice and helpful with everything we needed. We loved it and sure we will be back.

Located 22 km from Kiruna Train Station, the property provides a garden and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is set 36 km from Esrange Space Center. What an amazing stay! We came here by accident as the weather on the north cape was bad and we just drived to Lapland instead and ended up here. There are lots of things to do around and we had the best Lappland experience of our trip here. Northern lights, reindeers, the lake right in front, the ice hotel very close by. I highly recommend to stay here! It was magical! We even extended our stay here.

The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

In the lounge bar you can sit and relax in front of the fireplace. Staff were friendly and the small cabin was great and had loads of room

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. This is the most amazing accommodation we have experienced! Everything was superb! All the staff were so accommodating, friendly, helpful, attentive and caring to their guests. I love the cabin that we stayed in. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen area which is outside the cabin has complete amenities were you can cook. The toilet were all cleaned and well maintained. The sauna room and hot tub were a great addition. The breakfast was amazing and the dinner, you will be transported to their restaurant every night which is also great as you get to meet other guests as well. We were able to feed the reindeers free of charge every 10am and the place is just amazing to see the northern lights.

Aurora Camp Kurravaara offers a range of accommodation from simple cabins and cottages without running water, to unique glass huts and private fully equipped cabins. In the summer Aurora Camp Kurravaara also offers tree tents. Bed linen and towels are always included. Our lake view cottage was exactly as in the pictures. Aurora Camp is in a beautiful location in the wilderness and a great spot to see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately when we stayed it was cloudy. Staff were very welcoming. Aurora camp offers the opportunity to experience sleeping in an igloo. There is no running water and the toilet / showers are communal (clean) in the main area about 200m from the main part of the camp. I used the sauna for my shower and had a snow bath - very refreshing. The drive down the road can be a little scary, so just take it easy.
