I liked everything about this place, the chalets are supernice, they were surrounded by a beautifull plants and trees from the garden and they have a very cool terras that overlooks the garden and the realy nice pool where you can cool down on a hot day and chill! I liked the fact that you could see the local wildlife in the garden, from the pool or from your terras! The airconditioning on the room was also a plus it gets the chalet nice and cool. And ofcourse the owner and her team, Alexandra and Jerry, where aboslutely fantastic and really helpfull! I could recommend this place to everyone if you like peace and quiet because it is located on the calm and beautifull side of Mahé but you can get everywhere very easy by car!

Mountain Top Chalet is a recently renovated chalet in Victoria, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

The absolute highlight, however, comes when you sit down at the restaurant. The location couldn’t be better: the hotel sits on what we believe is the most stunning beach that can easily be accessed without hiking or a boat, and just a short distance from the village of La Passe and the local museum. We had an amazing time in Sunbird bungalow. Miss Maria is so nice and helpful person. She gave us the best tips on visiting places on Mahe and about everything else we needed to know, she even help us renting a car and gave us delicious fruits from her garden everyday. She is the best guide you can possible have! The place was very clean, well decorated (and so her gorgeuos garden) and has everything you need for comfortable stay. We felt very safe and at home at her place, partly because of her playful dog Zivah too 😊 Also we liked the location of the place (west coast), we liked the fact it's not very touristic and you have a chance to feel local vibe there. We really could not ask for more, if we will come back on Mahe, we come back in Sunbird bungalow too 😊

Everything, It was as described a beautiful Eco lodge Set in stunning natural gardens with wild life all around. Birds, gheko. Lizards, Fruit Bats. A lovely host who was friendly, informative and helpful. Short 5 minute walk to the beach, 2 restaurants and a small super market.
