The complex is very relaxing and suited for families, with nice grassy playground and pool. It is a few minutes walk from Geres village center, so there is no need to drive to go shopping or for a dinner in the village. The hosts are lovely and caring, and the zimmer was clean, fully equipped, and charming.

My stay at Secret do Gerês was truly exceptional! The staff's kindness was remarkable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The cabin's ideal localization offered tranquility and stunning surroundings. The entire cabin was cozy, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing retreat. To top it off, the homemade breakfast was a delightful treat, making the overall experience truly memorable. The room was quiet and the large opening windows offer a spectacular view of the lush green surroundings. No other sounds here than birds, wonderful to keep the window open at night. The river is only a 3 minute walk down the mountain, and offers great swimming or kayaking. Joana and Nathalia are so lovely, they work swiftly and did everything they could to make us feel at home and it was a wonderful stay. The hotel kitchen offers snacks and complete meals (dinner), highly recommended! The food is delicious and plentyful, really incredible value for money. All in all, this is a really great place to stay!

Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The interior was stylish and clean, and our kids were thrilled with the beds on the second floor, which felt like a secret hideout. The two beds were spacious and fluffy, and we slept very comfortably. The jacuzzi on the terrace was spacious enough for our family of three, and we enjoyed relaxing in it every night and morning. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and responded promptly to all of our detailed questions before our stay. The breakfast served in a cute basket was plentiful and everything was delicious. We were impressed from the very beginning, and wished we could have stayed longer! We stayed at accommodations in many places on this trip, but everyone in the family said this was the best.
