The hosts, Susana and Tomas were a delight, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The lodge offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. A fridge, a microwave and minibar are also featured, as well as a coffee machine. Everything was perfect. We were in December, we were worried about the temperature but completely unnecessarily - the fireplace in the suite heated the whole cabin quickly, adding a romantic, cozy atmosphere. Breakfast served in the morning at the door - bread, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, fresh juice. The whole cabin very clean, the bed very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful. The owners were very nice and helpful, they responded promptly in case of problems. We had a temporary power outage, we called and immediately the problem was solved. We felt special and thank you very much for that. The whole stay allowed us to get away from reality for a while. We will definitely return, and recommend to everyone.

The room was quiet and the large opening windows offer a spectacular view of the lush green surroundings. No other sounds here than birds, wonderful to keep the window open at night. The river is only a 3 minute walk down the mountain, and offers great swimming or kayaking. Joana and Nathalia are so lovely, they work swiftly and did everything they could to make us feel at home and it was a wonderful stay. The hotel kitchen offers snacks and complete meals (dinner), highly recommended! The food is delicious and plentyful, really incredible value for money. All in all, this is a really great place to stay!

The space is tiny but this was expected. The view though - exceptional. Perfectly nice place, almost in the middle of nowhere, with lots of privacy and time to just relax far from the noises. Loved it and will be back.

Food was reasonably priced so we didn’t even feel the need to cook.
