The lodge offers a continental or buffet breakfast. Wow what a place to stay. The facility itself is impressive but the views even more impressive. The big challenge is getting there. A bit out of downtown Lamego and not easy to find even using Google maps. Missed the turn off three times - better signage would definitely help. Long winding road to get up to the facility so driving to get there late at night - need to be careful

Ricardo and Ana are the most amazing caretakers of the house and simply the nicest people who made our experience even better. If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries, it doesn’t get better than this. Don’t be afraid of the dirt road that leads to the house - we rented a Ford Puma and we arrived just fine.

Natur Waterpark is 25 km from Muas Guest House, while Douro Museum is 38 km away. The nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro, 95 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Beautiful place with the best view. The room was big enough, with beautiful bathroom and also bathtub in the room. The bed was very comfortable and again with a fantastic view. There is also a little terrace where you can just sit and sip your glass of wine while enjoying the view of the mountains. Every morning we had a fantastic breakfast with everything you can think of (sweet pastry and cakes, eggs, cheese, hams, fruit, yougurts, bread....). Bruno, the host, is very nice and very helpful. He also recommended us places around which we could visit. We would definitely recommend this accomodation and would love to come back again.

The place was very tidy and clean, had clean sheets and towels, a private pool, a nice balcony to eat outside with the amazing view. They gave us wood for the outside barbecue which was amazing, they were always available for our questions, had a lot of really good recommendations, and Fernando also gave us a taste of his Porto wine as a welcome. Unforgettable stay! We also asked for additional wine tasting at their vineyard which is a must if you stay there! it is a perfect place for a couple or families touring the Douro valley, even just for relaxing with the beautiful view of the vineyard, just breathtaking. Highly recommend it!
