It’s in the middle of its own little section of the rainforest. No Kaz (bungalow) can see the other (there are only 6 on the property total so it’s very quiet, peaceful and private. The bungalows were perfect for me. Other people might not like it that is a bit far from the lobby and restaurant, but being by the beach is amazing. Mondi Lodge offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and air-conditioned wooden bungalows with fully equipped kitchenettes and free WiFi. Blue Bay Beach is just a 2-minute drive away. The design of treehouse was unique and memorable. It felt like we were part of nature and not trying to escape it. For breakfast, the food and service were great. They offered daily specials and a vast menu. The central location on the island is great for exploring north and south. The staff were friendly and accommodating in every way.

We had both breakfast and dinner and everything was delicious. Our plans changed back and forth due to trouble with ferry and flight timetables, but the hosts quickly adapted and solved both a tour and taxis on short notice.
