We had many chats with them and they helped us with every query or question we had :-) We can't recommend this place enough! It's PERFECTLY located close to the Chocolate Hills and the Man-made Forest & Tarsier Conservancy so no long rides/drives to get to these attractions. A family run facility which offers fantastic accommodation, delicious Filipino dishes and regular meals and a great place to relax. We will most certainly be staying here again should we return to the Philippines :-)

It had such a calm atmosphere - I enjoyed that there was a kitchen space and fridge to keep some snacks and fruits. The hammoks and especially the bed (!!!) is great. Also the outside bathroom was really refreshing. Showering under the stars :) The hosts were really lovely and accomodating, without losing a sense for privacy for their guests. They have such a great eye for detail, they do really great work in the community and for the street dogs. A nice to know (because it is not visable on google maps): The main road, Panagsama Rd. (Restaurants, bars and a few beaches are here) is only a 10-minute walk away through the little local village.

All the staff go above and beyond to ensure the stay is as comfortable as possible, and they are very helpful with booking tours and transportation. It’s super modern with a lovely touch of filipino authenticity, it has lots of lovely tropical plants in the garden and a lovely pool and surrounding area to relax. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was insane (still dreaming of this coffee). Andy helped us hire a moped and told us all the good spots to go to on the island.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the chalet free of charge. Guests can make use of a garden. Very crazy adventure. Peaceful with wild nature. Great house, like being in an aquarium, but this time the animals are watching us….crazy. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I recommend ordering food from Sikihoru Japan restaurant-great food. The chalet offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. The stay in DMC1 was an absolute dream. We loved the location as it’s very close to the centre of the town and to where all the good restaurants are based. Our host made our stay as easy as it can be and helped with all requests we had. It was one of our favorite stays we had. The room was absolutely gorgeous and huge with one of the best showers (perfect water pressure) We will be back!
