Spacious room with space to hang my wet hiking clothing. Hot showers. Good wifi. Great food. And a lovely pool which was much appreciated after hiking! Also very quiet and peaceful, I was the only guest there.

The location was breathtaking, the view from the rooms, and the restaurant were magnificent. The staff were super friendly. They offered us a new year’s menu that was not only delicious, but included typical dances from the staff and other activities.

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. Very nice, quiet place. Super nice people who worked there. And very nice hotsprings and river for bathing!!
