The hosts are amazing! The guacamole they served when we arrived was a highlight. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the views from the rooms were a delight. Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. Location and how cool it was to have a hot spring next to the river. The staff was very sweet, the mother hugged us as we left it was so cute.
