The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

A balcony with city views is offered in each unit. Raul and Ceila were great hosts and explained a lot about the local culture. The room had an awesome view with a porch right next to the water. We were not cold in the night because Raul provided us with hot water bottles for under the blankets. There was also a gas heater available. We really enjoyed our stay and it is a great place to relax a bit.

All the services that they provided were exceptional like breakfast and dinner, despite of the cold weather their lodge had many features that helped us feel warm and comfortable. The food was amazing, they took into account our dietary restrictions. The only bad thing is that we didn’t stay longer.

Renzo the host, his mother and the family are a wonderful family and are at your service 24/7 and look after you as there own family. The 4 cabins our tastefully decorated and have everything you need. The views from the room and porch are to die for . Food was delicious!! I would recommend this place do anyone!!!

Mama Lea is a very good cook! We had great meals. Transfer round trip is offered for 80 soles which is fair since it's around 30 minutes per way.

First off, what a magical experience this stay was from the people to the views to the room! Walter and his family really made this stay so special, they are the kindest people ever! From the moment we arrived they treated us with such care and love, Walter’s dad picked us up and dropped us off at the port, Walter took us on a private tour of the Uros Island in the traditional boats, his mom cooked the most wholesome dinner and breakfast for us, his mom also showed us her handmade artesiana, which were all so beautiful and we were able to purchase some to take a piece of them home and support this wonderful family. They made sure we were comfortable at all times, the room was spacious, had a heater for the nighttime, since it gets cold, plenty of blankets, hot showers, spectacular views, what else can you ask for?! They talked to us about their rich culture, which was impressive and it was a gift that they allowed us to take a peak into their everyday life as foreigners were not allowed back then in the Uros. I can not recommend this stay enough!! My husband and I left with our hearts full and a memory we will cherish for a lifetime! THANK YOU Walter, Maria, Sabino and Elena! Mucho amor y bendiciones!

They did everything to make our stay perfect. One of the best parts of our trip to Peru. The food is fantastic and the trips on the lake were wonderful and Juan told us all about life on the lake for the Uros people. We don’t want to leave. Sunny during the day and cold at night. The comfiest beds with loads of blankets and hot water bottles.

Situated in Puno, Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru offers accommodation with views of the lake, and breakfast included every day. The property is 7 km from the city centre, and right in front of Titicaca lake. The rooms had a beautiful view of the lake and nearby green mountain. The beds were comfortable with an outdoor deck day bed as well. The night was cold, but plenty of blankets kept us warm. The food was fresh and tasty and each family member contributed to our wonderful stay. Transportation was arranged by the host from our hostal by taxi to the port and then a boat took us for a short ride to the hotel within Uros Island.

Its really not that impersonal hotel stay but the real experience in how life is on Uros. Felix did everything to make sure our stay was as beautiful as possible and really made us feel like home. As we arrived super early morning he organized our transport and even let us get to our rooms early to rest a bit before having an amazing local breakfast, prepared by his wife. On sundays he took us to a local community soccer game and we could meet his friends and share a beer with them. if anyone wants to have the real Uros experience staying with Felix is the best choice. Thanks for everything, Felix!
