The cottages are super clean and the family that runs the hotel is very very nice! We stayed for two nights and had breakfast and dinner in the hotel both nights. It was so delicious. We booked the tour directly through them so they drove us and picked us up which was very convenient.

The property has two individual bungalows that are very spacious, with high ceilings, good bathroom and fly screens all around the windows. Nicolas is absolutely wonderful, very kind, very friendly and very respectful. He can organise daily tours, they were excellent. The tours were with small groups (less than 8 pax). Nicolas cooked very tasty meals. The property is located away from town, which means you have lovely nature around you, but Nicolas was very helpful in driving us to places we needed. The bungalows had a balcony, wifi and hot showers. The two dogs that live there are truly beautiful, we miss their cuddles already. Nicolas helped us find birds and a sloth nearby. There are squirrel monkeys nearby. The property is located near other resorts if you need a pool or river access. We enjoyed this property for its local community and wildlife, its excellent value for a small business. My only recommendation would be to have a tea/coffee making facilities available all day, and a large shower mat to catch excess water.

Amazing place in the Amazon. We really enjoyed our stay here, the bungalows were simple but perfect, all you need in nature. It was out of the center but if you are looking for something affordable in nature this is the perfect place.

Located only 3.5 hours from Puerto Maldonado city. (One hour by bus and 2.5 hrs by boat) This lodge is the only one inside the National Reserve of Tambopata. Free WiFi is featured.

Fantastic lodge and research station deep in the reserve and the Amazon forest far from all visible signs of humanity, dense rainforest teeming with birds, animals, insects - it balances the discomfort of the steamy forest heat and biting insects perfectly with a little luxury when you are not out on excursions in the jungle - exactly what one would want from an Amazon experience.

Stunning accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, an excellent guide, fascinating excursions, a scientific research centre which genuinely contributes to conserving the flora and fauna whilst helping the local community. Altogether the best experience we could have had in the Amazon. Not cheap but this was a once in a lifetime experience and worth every penny. Slept better here than ever before.

Excellent location right on the Rio Tambopata. All meals and numerous activities included. Located right next to the Amazon Shelter for Animal and Environmental Protection, which you can visit for a small donation and receive a guided tour. Very friendly and family-like atmosphere. Great hotel blocks from main plaza! It was fun to be able to explore the town a little. We stayed in an airconditioned new wing with a beautiful view of the river. I'd stay here again!

Featuring splendid river and jungle views, the property is located 10 metres from Tambopata River. The tour desk organizes activities such as fishing, canoeing, hiking, and cycling.

The accommodation is wonderfully rustic and in keeping with the tropical vibe of the area. It has a deck and hammocks to relax in, and a little raised lookout point over the river. Jaime is a great host who looked after all our needs, delivered meals right to our deck and arranged taxi transfers and tours. It’s a beautiful place to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the jungle.
