A continental or vegetarian breakfast is available every morning at the property. Guests can grab a bite to eat in the on-site restaurant, which serves a variety of Peruvian dishes. My experience was excellent. The staff were always very kind and helpful, and the pool and facilities were very well maintained and spotlessly clean. In addition, their cocktails and food were truly delicious.

An outdoor swimming pool with views of the river can be enjoyed in Wasai Puerto Maldonado Eco Lodge, 100 meters from the Main Square. Canoe trips can be booked and all rooms feature views of the river. There is free WiFi in public areas. The best stay on our trip by far. From checking in early because we arrived by overnight bus from Cuzco, through the friendly staff and clean amenities, to the beautiful wooden lodge rooms with views of the areal. We saw multiple sloths just hanging around in the area and a couple of monkeys passing by, all from our room window! We also recommend the Lake Sandoval trip, however we had bad luck with a fog on the parrot clay lick trip, so we didnt see much there. Also they let us stay in the areal after out check out, since we had again the overnight bus leaving at 7 pm and there was no problem staying there. And lastly they have a tasty restaurant called El Faro with tasty food and reasonable prices, as well as the amazing juices! The pool is worth it too on sunny tropical day. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was like a honeymoon phase on our backpacking journey through south america and the price is so affordable!
