The property has an outdoor dining area. We've never had a better host than Jennifer! She deserves 10 out of 10 stars - amazingly thorough communication, quick responses, accurate information, super friendly & helpful. She knows everyone in Bocas and helped us set up everything from a private boat tour to a birthday cake. It's worth booking here just for her knowledge! Location - in Playa Bluff, a 25 min taxi which costs between $15-$20 each way depending on the time of day. You can also take a colectivo for $3.50/person until about 6pm when it stops running. We loved the more remote location but it's a long bumpy road which may not work for everyone. There are a couple of restaurants within super easy walking distance and a gorgeous beach with big waves. Howler monkeys were in the trees out front along with lots of gorgeous Oropendula birds, agoutis, etc. The house has a fantastic front porch/dining area where we hung out during rain showers. We didn't cook, so can't speak to kitchen amenities but there's an Italian coffeemaker and a fridge.

We stayed for three days, brought our provisions from Bocas town to cook, and were cocooned in paradise. Snorkelled several times a day - rays, lionfish, batfish - but the most beautiful were the myriad small outcrops of coral, each with its own ecosystem. Went paddle boarding and kayaks were available. We absolutely loved our stay at Bahia Coral Lodge.

They went out of their way to make sure that we had all the info that we needed about the area, including access to the surfbreaks, which was very much appreciated. Lovely treehouses that were built with love and thought by the owners. Very eco-minded, which we support 100 percent. The cabin was suspended in the jungle in a very quiet location, yet close to the beaches, which were a 5 minute walk away. Every day we could hear the Howler monkeys in the distance and hear and see the wide variety of tropical birds. Listening to the sounds of nature was so peaceful. We loved our stay there!
