The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor living space is perfect for relaxing. We loved being surrounded by nature—waking up to the sounds of monkeys, spotting sloths in the trees, and seeing toucans and flying toads right outside our window. The beach is stunning, and David even provided beach mats and bags to make our days by the ocean even better. He went above and beyond, offering to bring us groceries from town and sharing great conversations over a beer, making us feel like old friends.

The spacious chalet has 2 separate bedrooms and includes a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, stovetop and dining area. Towels and bed linen are offered in the chalet. The property has an outdoor dining area. Location is amazing. It really feels like you’re away from daily life. In the middle of nature. Wonderful flora and fauna (saw sloths, monkeys and so much more!). Also such easy, quick and helpful communication with the owner Jennifer. She will help you with anything you may need at any moment of the day!

We stayed for three days, brought our provisions from Bocas town to cook, and were cocooned in paradise. Snorkelled several times a day - rays, lionfish, batfish - but the most beautiful were the myriad small outcrops of coral, each with its own ecosystem. Went paddle boarding and kayaks were available. We absolutely loved our stay at Bahia Coral Lodge.

It’s a very social place, they have a different activity each day and all the staff are super friendly and always there to help you! We stayed in a private room that had a well equipped kitchen, which was a nice touch since you have so many options for food around the hostel! You also get a free scooter for one day if you are staying in a private room which is the best way to go around the island and explore at your own pace! I would also suggest renting a quad + jungle from the hostel! It’s so much fun and you are llitterally riding in the jungle with so many spots to stop for a swim in crystal clear water!!!!
