You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home with his kindness, warmth, and attention to detail. The cabins are brand new, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped—sharp knives, quality cookware, a coffee machine, and even reusable water bottles to help reduce waste. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor living space is perfect for relaxing. We loved being surrounded by nature—waking up to the sounds of monkeys, spotting sloths in the trees, and seeing toucans and flying toads right outside our window. The beach is stunning, and David even provided beach mats and bags to make our days by the ocean even better. He went above and beyond, offering to bring us groceries from town and sharing great conversations over a beer, making us feel like old friends.

The house is a real gem hidden in the jungle, with big and extremely comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen with everything you need and a very pretty bathroom. The porch with the hammack is fantastic, we took our time to relax there and spot the howler monkeys having dinner in the trees right in front of us. It was amazing. I also took a yoga class with Jennifer, the host. If you are into yoga or just want to try it, do not miss out on it.

Incredible location, absolutely stunning view, beautiful house. We stayed for three days, brought our provisions from Bocas town to cook, and were cocooned in paradise. Snorkelled several times a day - rays, lionfish, batfish - but the most beautiful were the myriad small outcrops of coral, each with its own ecosystem. Went paddle boarding and kayaks were available. We absolutely loved our stay at Bahia Coral Lodge.

Maxxi and Jane were such great hosts. Jungle Paunch is a fantastic place to stay, and I would absolutely come back to this place. It's right down the road from the ocean and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The howler monkeys are loud in the morning, but it's exciting to be able to stay in nature and experience it so closely. Overall, you are instantly relaxed when you arrive at Jungle Paunch.
