Everything was perfect. The owners and the staff were super friendly and nice, the place itself is surrounded by paradise, there's also a backyard jungle. The food is delightful (if you're visiting - definitely book a dinner as well). Besides the amazing nature we also saw a lot of different animals including sloths, dolphins, tropical birds.. you can use kayaks for free and go explore the surroundings by yourself. The water is super clear, you can see starfish, small rayfish, even a small tiburon (a vegetarian one - no worries). I wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely miss this amazing place already! PS - there are small small mosquitoes called chitras. Make sure to be prepared for those.

Liked the location a lot. You could walk to Old banks for lunch and it was a short boat ride for many places. We spend an awesome day at Red Frog beach and Polo beach. Loved the atmosphere of the place and homecooked meals.

Everything about Bamboo Lodge was superb. Our room was spacious, new and furnished to a high standard, with a hot shower, air con and a big comfy bed. The pool is excellent and the poolside area is a lovely place to relax with a drink. Stefan and Julie were incredibly accomodating hosts, super friendly and with good recommendations for the area. The location is a bit outside town (it's easy enough to walk and taxis aren't expensive) and this makes it very peaceful. But there are good places to eat and drink nearby - the Sicilian restaurant a few doors down is great and the Pipa beach bar round the corner is also very nice.

Located in Bastimentos, Pure Roots provides sea views and free WiFi, less than 1 km from Carenero Noreste Beach and 2.3 km from Carenero Beach. A balcony with garden views is offered in every unit.

We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

Punta Rica Lodge is definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed at in Central America. Rooms are very spacious and absolutely spotless (and very well decorated!). Staff was amazing - we got upgraded to a larger room and had complementary pick-up and drop-off to & from the main island. Daniel was extremely nice, gave us very useful recommendations, and he is an outstanding chef. Definitely recommend having dinner there at least once to try his delicious food. Breakfast is included and those were the best avocado toast and pancakes we’ve had in our lives. This place is a must! Very nice swimming pool and common area - with a sea view. Really hope to come back one day!

We loved our stay here. The house is a real gem hidden in the jungle, with big and extremely comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen with everything you need and a very pretty bathroom. The porch with the hammack is fantastic, we took our time to relax there and spot the howler monkeys having dinner in the trees right in front of us. It was amazing. I also took a yoga class with Jennifer, the host. If you are into yoga or just want to try it, do not miss out on it.

What's not to love at Eden Jungle? Magnificent views, excellent food prepared with much care, attention to detail - we went with teenagers and they set up a pool table, foosball table and more-, possibility to visit a Cacao farm, see how it's made and served in different dishes, kayak adventures and boat trips, and last but not least two great hosts that care for nature and the community where they now live. We truly enjoyed meeting Judith and Fabrice.
