We loved akwaba lodge. There were kayaks, SUPS, and snorkel gear for free. It is a really relaxing place. If you do want to go to another island, you could take a water taxi, which was very flexible. The people were very friendly. Also, the food was really good! Greetings, Charlotte

Everything. Super calm and peaceful, amazing way to spend time in the nature. Forest reserve is lovely to walk through with a lot of animals to spot like caymans and armadillos. The food we had for breakfast and dinner was lovely and very tasty. The couple who runs the place is super helpful and made our stay really enjoyable.

Such an amazing place to stay!! There are only 2 small houses and main house for staff with pool and garden. everything is super clean. you can buy breakfast ( coffee or tea, pancakes , eggs , ham , smoothie) ( it was included in my reservation), lunch ( never had it) and 3 course dinner (25$). cocktails with fresh fruits from garden 5$. hosts offer water for free. very quite and peaceful place to stay with your partner or by your own and relax. there is no beach but you can swim in pool. be aware that water taxi in about 20 $ one way so if you are planning to do excursions it’s better to stay on another island

Super friendly and cozy place surrounded by jungle. Best place to chill and have proper rest. Good food and helpful staff. Highly recommend for everyone who’s looking for hideaway.

Everything about Bamboo Lodge was superb. Our room was spacious, new and furnished to a high standard, with a hot shower, air con and a big comfy bed. The pool is excellent and the poolside area is a lovely place to relax with a drink. Stefan and Julie were incredibly accomodating hosts, super friendly and with good recommendations for the area. The location is a bit outside town (it's easy enough to walk and taxis aren't expensive) and this makes it very peaceful. But there are good places to eat and drink nearby - the Sicilian restaurant a few doors down is great and the Pipa beach bar round the corner is also very nice.

Located in Bastimentos, Pure Roots provides sea views and free WiFi, less than 1 km from Carenero Noreste Beach and 2.3 km from Carenero Beach. A balcony with garden views is offered in every unit.

We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

The moment you reach this eco lodge you are welcomed by the proud owners Daniel and Brian. They are the perfect hosts and specialized in great food (breakfast, lunch and dinner!) and cool coktails. Nice to see how they connect you with the other interesting guests and make a real vibrant atmosphere in this lovely surrounding.

Location is amazing. It really feels like you’re away from daily life. In the middle of nature. Wonderful flora and fauna (saw sloths, monkeys and so much more!). Fabrice & Judith offer wonderful hospitality. The location is beautiful and is well kept. We were inspired by the magnificent work in building and maintaining the lodge and surroundings. It really feels like a lodge that blends in the jungle perfectly. I hope we will have the opportunity to visit them again soon.
