This lodge is truly luxurious and the gracious hosts put their heart into this place. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the perfectly curated menu with local NZ foods, the plush linens and towels, to the decadent and eco-friendly bath products. It was everything we hoped for and more. We spent our time on beaches, enjoyed the kayaks provided, and watched the stars while relaxing in the jacuzzi. The indoor soaker tub was the cherry on top. This place was absolutely unforgettable.

The owner Mark is caring and friendly, gave some good advice on the house and any local subject. It is a comfortable place to settle, relax. We finally felt at home after two months traveling abroad with our children.
