There is a private bathroom with shower in every unit, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and bathrobes. Breafast came in a basket and there was enough for us to use for both mornings. The bed was very comfy and warm. The hosts were welcoming and asked if we had all that we needed, which we did. We also had dinner with our hosts, a lovely home cooked meal, during which we spent the time chatting. We loved the gardens, which was an unexpected surprise as we booked on location, rather than for any other reason. We have told all our friends about it, and would love to go there again.

Really beautiful room with fabulous view of Mount Taranaki. Had seats outside the room on the patio separated from next door with a trellis and shrubs. There was a wonderful jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Breakfast was lovely too, homemade muesli, yoghurt, fruit, bread, crumpets and English muffins. Great location, very quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes drive to the National Park and great walks. Trish was great too, very friendly and helpful. Exceptional value for money. Would definitely recommend. There were facilities for massages etc, which we didn’t try.

Select units have full kitchen facilities or balconies with bush and distant sea views. We loved it here. Very modern, clean and comfortable. Wonderful location within walking distance into the town and to the park and the sea. Ensuite was very nice and the shower was great. Quiet at night. Laundry facilities were excellent. The lady running the place was lovely and very helpful.

What a fabulous find this place was! An entire house to ourselves out in the country with stunning views of Mt Taranaki! We loved the layout and spacious feel of the house. Kitchen was superbly appointed. Bathrooms were beautiful with great water pressure. Comfortable beds. And great decor. Falling asleep to the sound of the river was wonderful. Wish we were staying more than two nights!

Stunningly no sunsets and if you are standing on that front porch with your coffee you almost have that feeling you are in the hobbit’s Shire. Very short drive to New Plymouth and Taranaki Maunga.
