So much. Everything. Beyond expectations and hopes! Every detail is exceptional and this is clearly loved, cared for and respected. Please read on, but just book this place, you've finished your search here. Firstly, this is a cottage literally on the vineyard, you walk down a vine lined driveway to this beautiful cottage off the main road. It's far enough that all you can hear is the many birds singing during the day! The place is immaculate, I cannot stress this enough, I had to double check to see how far the reviews went back, because this cottage looked brand new. It was stunning! The kitchen had all the cutlery and cooking equipment you need, a full sized fridge, the tap water is UV filtered so it was really nice to drink from. Theres a dishwasher and washing machine. The air conditioning unit works quickly and is powerful! The carpet is plush and throughout it feels brand new. The bathroom was spotless and large, the shower is huge! has a large shower head, with a lot of water pressure and a towel warmer! The switches are even labelled, again attention to detail and cared for! There are bath towels, hand towels and face cloths provided and also feel new!! The bedroom, it has lots of room, two wardrobes, a long mirror, ample plugs throughout. The bed is the best bit, its firm and so so comfortable with two pillows on each side. It's a king size bed which is an added bonus. The owners are phenomenal, like none I've ever met, happy to help and communicate prior to arrival, helped to book our train transfer and taxi back out again after our stay, we felt that we could ask them at any point for help and they'd help! We booked a wine tour through them too, Jade Tours, it was the highlight of our trip in Blenheim. The tour is not to be missed! Their recommendations are transparent and genuine. The best bit, the garden.

Very clean room and the staff was phenomenal. I was having a little problem with the rental car and the manager walked over with me to the garage across the street to help get it fixed. The other manager moved my car to the parking spot by the room and carried my heavy bag into the room for me. The room was very nice and had everything we needed. These people went above and beyond to do anything to make our stay the best.

We loved everything about our stay at Lochmara Lodge. We stayed for two nights with our family and It was a little bit of a splurge, but did not disappoint! The location was stunning, the fact that you got there by water taxi made it remote and uncrowded, and there were plenty of things to do (hike, paddleboard, kayak). Also, the food was delicious and the staff was accommodating and helpful.

Just a 10 minute walk from the town cente. Beautifully appointed room with superb attention to detail. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Great communication from the hosts. Plenty of places to eat in the town and a lovely park to enjoy a walk just around the corner from the property.

So much care and attention has gone into setting up this lovely place. We appreciated the comfortable bed, fabulous shower etc and this iin combination with all the set up under the covered veranda outdoors (kitchen corner, dinner table. It means you are outdoors, enjoying the view and listening to the birds and soaking in the bush vibe, but also have all the luxuries and comfort as if you were in a motel. We can warmly and wholeheartedly recommend this place and their hosts.
