We requested dinner for the evening which was a lovely home cooked meal. We had a great time that evening, enjoying their company. Breakfast was lovely. Must also mention Ash the dog who loves to walk with you.

This property offers access to a terrace, a pool table, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 35 km from Turoa. What a unique place to stay! Loved our night in this log lodge - only let down was wishing we stayed longer to get more use from it. Such a unique and interesting property - very big and comfortable - would be great for a large group (almost too big for just 3 of us!) with a number of different living spaces. Loved all the different seating areas and nooks. Very much appreciated the fire running when we arrived. It did get quite cold overnight so would suggest keeping the fire running or using the heaters. The view in the morning and having a coffee out on the balcony was spectacular - as were the homemade crumpets and jam that we had for breakfast. It had everything you would need for a big group - ample crockery, cooking equipment and pantry staples. Definitely recommend stay here.

The most heartwarming and friendly host. The hostess gave us wise suggestions on sightseeing routes. The accommodation offers a fireplace. Lovely little house, I loved the design and the careful little touches. I loved having a little block of chocolate left for us by the host!

There is also a seating area and a fireplace. The chalet was very cozy and spacious, it felt like home. Location was great, about 50 km from The Mont Tongariro National Park. Everything was great and clean. Communication with host was great too.
