Our family had three wonderful days in Monninckedam Luxury Chalets. The apartment was clean and the air-conditioning took care of the hot days. The location was brilliant - the bus stop was near and it took only 15 minutes to Amsterdam. Monninckedam is a beautiful village, we also recommend the ice cream place by the harbour. Very nice little holiday home with a great terrace including a view of the Markermeer. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom is modern. Restaurants, supermarkets and the train station are nearby.

There mosquito nets all over which allow you to keep the windows open (really important cause the house gets really warm) We rented bikes, the kids like to jump the trampoline and driving kids small 4 wheels cars. We came late, so the key place and instruction were good.
