The apartment was well equipped, very clean, the bed was comfortable, friendly staff and you also have your own private outside space. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Captains Cabin! The chalet was not only beautiful but also spotless and fully equipped, everything we needed was there. The veranda had such a cozy and romantic vibe; we spent the evening sitting there. And the picnic table was perfect for a sunny breakfast. The camping site is lush and peacefull. The owner was very kind and responded guickly to any questions. All the provided information was clear, and check-in went smoothly. As for the area/surroundings: Petten really surprised us in a good way. The beach is within walking distance- wide and quiet. We also enjoyed cycling through the dunes and hiking in the nearby Zwanenwater Nature Reserve. In short: a lovely place, a cozy and comfortable chalet and beautiful surroundings. We'd love to come back.
