Totally amazing place in the middle of nowhere. Wonderful cottages with hot shower and comfy beds set around a large inner area facing the beautiful main restaurant and lounge, bar areas. So well built, around and including the large boulders, they’re even inside the main building. The food was exceptional, dinners and breakfast both. Staff are so friendly and they light fires in many fireplaces in the main building and outdoor firepit. Thanks to Melencia and the Chef and all the staff,all wonderful . It’s a very beautiful place visually and also close to Fish River Canyon. No trouble for 2wd to access from the main road.

Decor inside and outside was very interesting with all the old vehicles and tools. Lovely diner food and wonderful breakfast.

The lodge and its impressive location is a Must-see on very Namibian trip. Absolutely outstanding, combined with friendly staff, very good chefs and an infinte pool that takes your breath away.

Surrounded by natural African gardens, this eco-friendly lodge offers bright rooms with a terrace overlooking the Gurib River bed. Beautiful surrounding, small stoep T the room with view over the veld and waterhole (springbok and ostrich). Lovely restaurant, nice food. We only stayed one night but would like to come back for a few more nights. Pool looked beautiful. The rooms were lovely decorated with wonderful inventive details. The display of all the Lithops of Namibia is definitely worth to visit!

Very interesting historical place (old railway station converted to hotel). Nice location- not too far from quiver tree forest. Good for sleepover before continuing to Luderitz or Fish river canyon. There is a fireplace in the dining area, so it was nice and warm. Very nice dinner and breakfest.
