The lush gardens full of birds, the beautiful pool, and our charming casita with a super comfortable bed, hammock and private terrace made it easy to relax. The WiFi worked great throughout our stay, which was a big plus. The staff — Jey, Sebastián and Mia — were warm, attentive, and helped with everything from taxis to beach clubs. We took an ADO bus to Bacalar and a short taxi (about 30 mins / 200–250 pesos) to the property, and got around easily without a car. We loved the breakfast and dinner plan — every meal was delicious (favorites were butter chicken, cochinita pibil and tuna poke bowl!). We also recommend Sebastián’s private sailing tour — a serene experience with guacamole and drinks on the beautiful northern lagoon. The small town of Buenavista feels rustic, safe and peaceful, with lagoon access a short walk away. We highly, highly recommend staying here!

The house is very comfortable and it has lots of amenities to make your stay very cozy. It was easy to get to and from there you can walk to different places in Bacalar. Also, the communication with the host was very good so no issues to check in or out.

The beachside location is stunning, though the road to get there is quite rugged. However, I highly recommend opting for the boat ride—it's a much smoother and faster alternative. Once you arrive, the place is perfect for unwinding. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. It’s the ideal place to relax and escape, with every detail contributing to a truly memorable experience. If you are planning on going, i recommend minimum 2 nights.
