The view of the lake was stunning. Perfect spot for watching the sunrise. Excellent staff members. Very kind and relaxed, not pushing. Very willing to help. We could leave our backpacks in a locked room while we did another trip of 2 nights. Helped us book every single detail of our trip. Arranged a comfortable stay at the illala ferry in detail. Zikomo kwambiri!

Mgoza exceeded my expectations! The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, the views overlooking the lake is breathtaking and the food is great. Amazing value for money! We slept really comfortably and the fan in the room was a life saver. It was really hot during our stay, but the lodge is located under big trees which made the chill / restaurant area nice and cool. Would highly recommend when visiting Cape Maclear
