The place was clean and equipped with all the necessities. We couldn’t meet the host as we arrived late in the evening, however, he made sure to provide us self check-in info upon our arrival and had also prepared the wood stove, so the cabin was really warm. We had a great time.

Marko and his parents are great, always prepared to help. Perfect way to relax and read! You can leave your car at a safe place and marko will drive you up the dirt road :-)! The accommodation is situated up in the mountains, accessible by foot or car. We parked the car at the lake and walked up to the accomodation through the woods. We ensured we started the walk in time so we would be at the accomodation at 6 pm, to not have to walk in the dark. Once there we were welcomed by the beautiful sunset, the warm fire stove and the very welcoming and genuine host. She made us feel at home right away. We ate a delicious dinner with homemade bread, cheese, soup, etc. Breakfast was also delicious with homemade bread and cheese, baked potatoes, baked meat, fruit jam, apples, etc. We slept in a very cosy cabin and were supplied with enough blankets to keep us nice and cosy after a hot shower. This accomodation is definitely worth the hike!

It was cozy little chalet , very comfy , the bed was nice and warm , it was not that close to the main road so it was very quite but still very easy to reach. The host was very friendly and gave us a cup of tea and chocolate as a welcome.

Once you’re there, you’re rewarded with a superb mountain setting, comfortable accommodation and really lovely hosts. They made us feel relaxed and at home, even with a language barrier. The restaurant/kitchen is the hub, and it was such a cosy place to relax and unwind in. The food was superb - some people make the drive just to eat here. There’s a couple of hot water showers, power is on from 7-11pm to charge devices and, although there’s no WiFi, you can connect to the host’s if you need to get online.
