We took an afternoon Safari till sunset. Excellent driver who helped us see many of the smaller animals. We did of course see elephants and they were amazing, especially the baby elephants. given a free drop to our next hotel

Very hostile and communicative owner. Very nice and quiet place. Just monkeys sometime run over the roof and make noise. Accomodation is roughly 600m from the elephant orphanage. There is nothing in direct vicinity but jungle. Good breakfast after safari. Safari arranged by the owner, we got picked up directly in the accommodation.

Very hospitable, helpful and friendly service. Room was clean and cozy. Both, dinner and breakfast were fabulous. Also the safari guide service was excellent. 10/10, will recommend!!

The hotel arranged a safari for us, which was well-organized and an unforgettable experience. The pool, food, and service were all good and matched my budget. they are not greedy for money like other hotels.

Such an amazing spot. In the middle of the centre, . Breakfast was amazing and early in the morning there's a lot of wildlife in the backyard! We saw monkeys, lots of birds. amazing spot.

On arrival we were offered a cooking class in the evening which was excellent. Sujee and his wife are so lovely and he is so knowledgeable about the safari. The hotel itself is very well built and kept and high quality. We went on a all day safari from around 10am, lunch included, and saw so much on the day, I would highly recommend a longer safari if you can afford it as it’s really worth it.

An amazing guest house with three rooms, and a large common area, located at the foot of dramatic and lush hill. We managed some very nice birding just sitting in the garden. A truly relaxing setting in nature. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and the meals were delicious.

The room was really nice, great AC, very clean and lots of space. We stayed two nights and had an evening meal here which was excellent. The host Kasun, was super friendly and very helpful, he sorted out additional transport for us as well as our safari, which we greatly enjoyed. I would recommend this place to anyone!

It was great to meet him and to know a bit more about his life and the place. He made all the decoration himself and everything is very original. The place had everything we needed, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. Also very affordable. Michael can propose you some affordable safari tours if you ask him. Thank you for your hospitality

Communication with the owner was very easy and quick. The amenities were great. The room was wonderful & clean. Safari was Amazing. We could see so many Animals. Such as Sri Lankan leopards, deer, wild boar, water buffalos, crocodiles & a large number of varying Birds species (eagles, parrots, owls, and peacocks....) We had a great experience with the Oasis Wild Cottage. We definitely plan to return to OWC!
