Our stay at Ella Barn Hills was absolutely wonderful! Finding accommodation with such a breathtaking view at this price is truly rare. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, always ensuring our needs were met. Her husband was also fantastic—whenever we needed a ride to the town center, he offered transport at non-touristy prices, making our stay even more convenient. One of the highlights was the possibility to get drinking water directly from the property, which was a great bonus. The breakfast, lovingly prepared even in the early morning hours, was simply delicious, and enjoying it with a view of the Nine Arch Bridge made it even more special. Additionally, they were very helpful in arranging transport to farther locations and giving great local recommendations. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation in Ella. You won’t be disappointed!

Located 49 km from Gregory Lake, Ella Breeze Homestay provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Everything was just perfect!! We have been there for 4 nights. Devaka and his family have been so nice and the food (breakfast & dinner) was really good. Devaka took us to a tea factory which was very interesting and also gave us a lot of helpful tips for the hikes and other stuff to do around. Room was small but had everything, also very confortable beds. The shower was also hot, what is very nice when it‘s a bit colder. The place was perfect, far away from the chaotic Ella but close enough to the train station. Thanks again to Devaka and his family. Highly recommended to stay there!!

The host family are so friendly and kind, doing everything they can so that we are happy. Met the entire family, including the dog! Nice room with terrace, where we had great breakfast and perhaps the best dinner in Sri Lanka! The owner arranged scooter, tuktuk whenever we needed and gave great instructions and recommendations for hikes etc. Great memory in Sri Lanka!

Look no further for a fantastic stay in Ella with the most breathtaking views, the kindest most genuine hosts, and fantastic proximity to Ella village and any adventure you can dream up. The owners Renu and her husband are one of a kind people, they fed us the most delicious, healthy Sri Lankan breakfast - every step of the way I felt so cared for. They even helped us arrange tuktuks to town, and offered to send a taxi to bring us from Weligama to Ella (although we didn’t need it). Renu made personalized recommendations for Ella adventures, at night we slept like babies, and rose to watch the sun rise from the cozy bed. 2 nights was way too short here - next time we’re in Sri Lanka, we’ll spend much more time here and will definitely do their cooking class and more.
