Hotel arranged safari half day trip where we saw loads of elephants as well as a day trip to polonnaruwa ancient ruins in a jeep and gave us a tuktuk rides wherever we needed including early morning to lions rock. Breakfast was amazing, home made fresh every morning, tea, coffee, toast with butter and jam, fresh fruits and some local sri lankan breakfast items which varied each day but were all delicious. Provided bottle drinking water and pool towels. Right in the middle of nature with 100s of birds in the garden. Short walk to multiple restaurants.

Honestly, the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka! Out of all 7 weeks in Sri Lanka our 3 nights here were the best, and it was 90% due to this Homestay!!! We felt amazingly at home! Chamika was WONDERFUL. He hiked up to pidurangula with us and brought us surprise coffee in a coconut, and didn’t ask for anything in return! We did a cooking class and ate some of the best food ever, and chamika went to swim in a lake with us! The room was as exactly as described with comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing everyday and just laying on the rock with a view of the lake was stunning! Overall if I could rate this place 1000 stars I would! Thank you guys so much!
