A bit difficult to reach over a very bumpy road (drove my own car) but it was worth the effort: Surrounded by forest covered Hills, bird calls and the soft gurgling of the pool, delicious meals with a wonderful view and friendly staff. Fantastic sunsets from the rock which is a short steep climb above the lodgings, I became more and more relaxed during the 3 days and nights of my stay. A wonderful opportunity to tune in to an almost pristine and peaceful Sri Lankan environment.

The Loft blended in exceptionally well with the stunning beauty of Embogama. This experience was a much-needed detox for our minds as the peaceful environment made us forget the stresses of city living. The meals were so tastefully prepared, and the experiences gathered from going around the village will definitely make us revisit the Loft again and again!
