The owner did the interior design himself. It has a very Scandinavia and Sri Lankan vibe. Very good and firm bed. Very nice view from room and terrace. The breakfast is great. The accommodation is a few kilometer from the center of Kandy. It’s very quiet. We slept very well.

The Mountain View rooms, with their full glass windows and private patio seating, offer breathtaking views and beautifully curated interiors. The serene, secluded setting, away from the main town and that was exactly what I was looking for, surrounded only by the soothing sounds of nature and birdsong. Wi-Fi is not available, which was perfectly fine for me, as it added to the peaceful, unplugged experience. The staff were incredibly courteous, prompt, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. A special mention to Mr. Inthizar, the owner and host, whose warmth, helpfulness, and genuine hospitality truly set this place apart. He went above and beyond, not only ensuring our stay was comfortable, but also helping with taxis, sharing local tips, and even guiding us during our trip after we had checked out. If I could, I’d give this place 11 out of 10 stars. Highly recommended for anyone seeking calm, scenic, and heartwarming hospitality away from city’s chaos.

The family was incredibly warm and welcoming. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It was clear that they value people more than money, which made the experience feel so genuine and heartfelt. The breakfast was also really delicious and freshly prepared. An oven and microwave are also available, as well as a kettle. We don't think that we have enough words to to describe this paradise. It was one of the best accomodations we ever stayed. It is so beautiful decorated, comfortable, spotlessly clean, the most perfect beds! And the views were so amazing as well as the calmness of the whole place after a busy day in Kandy. Punya and Ravi made this stay even more perfect, they are amazing hosts! Punya was so kind and helpful, she made everything went so smoothly. Ravi was the most attentive host, always took care that we have everything that we might (we enjoyed when he waited us in the evening with a cup off tea and coffee). He really went out of his way to make us feel so welcome and comfortable, Ravi also made perfect Sri Lankan breakfast every morning, so delicious, filling and something different every day. Host gave us a free drop service to the railway station. calm and quite atmosphere. They have rooms with river view balconies.

Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

The air-conditioned chalet consists of 2 separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a hair dryer, a seating area, and a living room. Towels and bed linen are provided in the chalet. The property has an outdoor dining area. The view, the pool, the food, the house on its own and especially the hosts, who want to make you feel as comfortable as possible. It was all amazing!

The property has garden and city views, and is 1.5 km from Kandy Museum. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and full-day security for guests. spacious rooms and neatly organized. Location was also fine, we were able to walk and get a tuktuk at one night otherdays we had car. Steps are also not much, elders can also manage.
