We stayed in 7 hotels during our Sri Lanka trip, from simple B&Bs to 5-star resorts, and Khomba Lodge was the only one we’ll remember for a long time. It’s a villa with only 3 apartments, there will be a maximum of 8 guests except of you in the whole building. The middle floor apartment is simply stunning - very comfortable, equipped with more stuff than you’ll ever need, furnished with exceptional taste. On one side, your balcony overlooks a private garden pool with a sea view, while on the other, there’s an incredibly spacious private terrace filled with tropical plants. The villa also offers direct access to the beach, and bars and restaurants are just beyond the fence. We also experienced the best in Sri Lanka hospitality and care from the staff. The guards at the entrance are incredibly friendly, Rehan is always ready to assist with any local needs, and the amazing Gayan will take care of all your travel arrangements. With Gayan and his comfortable van we even traveled to Ella after our stay - it was the best travel & guide tour we had on the island. Lisa, who manages the place, provides super easy & direct communication. Our only regret is that our stay was too short. Highly recommended to everyone - we will definitely return some day! Thank you!
