Originally we planned to stay just one night, but ended up staying three—and we’re so glad we did. This place is incredibly peaceful and beautiful, the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. Getting there is part of the adventure: you hike for about half an hour through the jungle, and arriving at Sleeping Trees feels like a true reward after the trek. The beach, the atmosphere—it’s all worth it. The owner is super friendly and flexible, which made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole place has a really relaxed, welcoming vibe. We enjoyed some delicious food during our stay—especially the fresh pizza baked in their clay oven. It’s amazing what they can do in such a remote setting! Plus, the price includes lots of thoughtful extras like free water refills and free use of snorkeling gear, which made exploring the beach even more fun. Every evening we were treated to absolutely stunning sunsets right from the beach. We highly recommend staying multiple nights to fully soak up the tranquility and magic of this place. A true hidden gem!
