Amazing location, wonderful atmosphere! Very clean and well prepared, we were left snacks and drinks by the host and felt so excited and welcome there. Amazing value for money too, would definitely recommend staying here! The walk into the centre of town is about half an hour because of the very steep hill leading down to the house which you have to walk up to get out, but it is not any reason not to stay here if that’s feasible for you.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. He was respectful and gave us space but had lots of very good suggestions which we enjoyed. He even helped us to set up the bbq pit and get it going so we could bbq, and there were lots of groceries and things that were provided. The facilities are generous: can take 12 guests comfortably with two shower rooms and 4 WCs The place is quiet with easy parking and within short drive (less than 30 minutes) of major outdoor adventure locations. Its a great base camp for outdoor activities. I would love to come again in a different season and see all that minakami has to offer!

The place was amazing! The location is unbeatable - just a 2-minute walk to Shin-Okubo metro station. There are plenty of shops nearby, including Daiso, Mega Don Quijote, Can Do, and several others, as well as multiple convenience stores within a minute’s walk. For tourists, having a money exchange desk nearby is a major plus. The hostel itself offers incredible value for the price. The capsules were super clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. They provided daily amenities like face creams, toners, facial washes, shampoos, and even pyjamas. The common area was a lovely spot to relax, with tea and coffee available. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a convenient and enjoyable stay!
