What truly made our stay special was the host – we had issues with our hire car (nothing to do with them), but they went above and beyond to help us out and were so kind and supportive throughout. Couldn’t recommend this place more – we’d definitely come back!

I felt compelled to write this, my first review with Booking.com, such was my brilliant experience with Marco and his friends and family! I was made so welcome, and found fast friends with my hosts, who invited me to the beach with them and were gracious enough to offer to share their dinner with me. The location is definitely only for the able bodied traveller. You must leave your car and hike from the road uphill with all your things on a track to reach the cabin. It was an adventure and so very worth it. Marco has worked hard to renovate the building and has made a charming space. The view is incredible, and is perfectly located to walk a further 20 minutes up the hill to a church with astonishingly beautiful and panoramic views of the lake for sunrise. The spacious chalet has 3 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave, a washing machine, and 2 bathrooms with a bidet. Towels and bed linen are available in the chalet. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Communication with the owner was excellent. And she provided a welcome gift of Panettone cake and wine, which was waiting for us on arrival. The Chalet was amazing and had everything we needed. So we had a wonderful stay.

Our kids loved to swim in the pool. We very much recommend staying here, it exceeded our expectations (it looks better than at the pictures :)).
