Very big and clean shared kitchen area, that also includes a sitting area with couches. Great location, very near Gullfoss waterfall. We did not use the kitchen for dinner, only for breakfast, and it had everything we needed. We were the only guests which made for a lovely quiet stay.

The beds were very comfortable, the house was warm and bright. The view from the big picture windows was excellent. We also enjoyed seeing the horses across the road and the tractors trundling around. The hot tub was also excellent, the instructions were very clear and it was easy to use. The only thing extra that would help is an estimate of how long the tub takes to fill, the first night we didn't start it filling until after dinner and it took too long to fill so we couldn't use it that night.
