Very kind staff! The house that we had was very cute and confortable. The house had internal bathroom and toilet and they were very nice and clean too. The dinners in the restaurant were VERY delicios! The view from the porch of the house was fantastic!

Much more cosy in reality than what it looks like in the pictures. Nice place to see the Northern lights and beautiful nature all around. Good location to start exploring the Snaefellsnes peninsula!

Dalahyttur is really "in the middle of nowhere", reached after 6 km via a gravel road. The area around the huts looks a bit unkempt, but the cabin was clean, even if very cramped. There is simply no room for suitcases, at least in the standard cabins - and we couldn't leave our suitcases in the car. In addition, the hot water is limited in its availability by a boiler, so that two people do not always manage with the quantity
