What a beautiful property surrounded by mountains and a small waterfall. We were pleasantly surprised by the side of the cottage, it was much bigger than we expected. The front porch area was all glass windows and doors with amazing views and a hot tub and there was a deck with a grill as well. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a waffle maker. This was my kids' favorite place, they loved the hot tub (no jets), the soccer field and small playground outside as well as walking up the hill near the waterfall. The lollipops on their pillows were also a great surprised for them. :) It was very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay.

It is pretty remote, but that's the beauty of it. I've never experienced such quiet! We also saw the most amazing Northern Lights display of our life. The big windows in the cabin are all glass and look out over Ásbyrgi Canyon and we were even able to see the Northern Lights through the windows. The design of the house is very thoughtful. The parking is also right in front of the cabin. We wanted to extend our trip here, but it was unfortunately sold out. You won't regret booking here!
