Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

We just stayed for one night, comfortable room, lots of nice touches for the kids- little teddies, complimentary hot chocolate and ice cream, excellent swimming pool for kids as it isn't too deep, lots of entertainment, good location, it is out of town. I did see they had shuttle buses into Killarney running but we didn't avail of this. The breakfast was good also. 👍
Top notch, high spec holiday chalets in a beautiful part of the world.
Everything had been thought of by Pauline and a great welcome by her shortly after arrival. Delighted to meet the little person the cabin was called after too! It was so peaceful and a good base for seeing the area. Transport definitely required. Being a wooden cabin, the "musical sounds" of the beams expanding and contracting is an interesting addition but one you get used to very quickly. I'd highly recommend this hidden gem. Thankyou Pauline!
It was a very friendly, comfortable, clean place to stay. Big lockers under the beds to fit your entire bag and a bed that becomes completely enclosed when shutting the curtain so you have privacy. There is a nice sitting room with a fireplace and a good coffee shop attached.
