This is a perfect hideout if you like rural living, animals and starry skies. The hosts welcome you with open arms and the whole family takes time out of their day to add that much to your stay. The hosts have multiple animals (from very friendly and playful dogs to farm animals) and we got a chance to pet them all. The location is secluded in the middle of the nature, which suited us very well. There is a kitchenette to save you from having to go out to eat. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries beyond what you'd expect.

We had a wonderful family stay at this cosy lake cabin. Trisha welcomed us warmly and ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit. The location and stunning views make it an ideal place to relax and reconnect with nature. Excellent communication and directions so easy to find. Beds and all rooms clean and comfortable. 5 mins to Mullingar town for restaurants yet still very quiet. Excellent opportunity to stretch your legs across the road along the tow path / greenway.
