The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

There's an ensuite in each bedroom, which was such a nice bonus to have; especially with a mixed group. We were a group of 6 and there was plenty of lounging space for everyone. The sun out the front is gorgeous in the morning! Plenty of parking space too. Facilities were perfect - everything you could want. The location is fab - so close to the village and still feels like you're immersed in nature.

It truly felt like our private place but they were on hand if we needed anything. The smallest details were taken care of (coffee options, a small carton of milk for coffee left for us, small candies to enjoy upon arrival, plenty of towels, directions listed for the door and other things which might be tricky). The location was close to town but also quiet and private. It was a great way to wind down and relax at the end of our trip to Ireland. I would pick this exact accommodation if it was available everywhere I traveled!

Our host was very helpful and friendly. Small touches, like water, butter and milk that was provided for us in the fridge made us feel right at home. Everything and more than we needed was included in the stay.
