Our host was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. We could reach out with any question or problem, and they were always there to help. They were also very thoughtful — on the day we arrived, there was a big storm, and they sent us a message to remind us to drive carefully because of the weather. The place is quiet and peaceful, the house is very comfortable, clean, and has a really welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped, and we were touched to find some food and snacks waiting for us. The kids loved the treats (well, not just the kids!), thank you so much for that! We’ve travelled to many countries, but we’ve never had such a warm and thoughtful host. Thank you again for everything!

Everything was perfect from the start. Sabina and David were so lovely and could not do enough for us to make our stay fantastic. I happened to tell Sabina it was our anniversary and when we arrived at our accommodation, Sabina had a bottle of bubbly on ice to celebrate. We also had our dog Bear with us and she was allowed to go everywhere. Not something you will find in a 'dog friendly' hotel. Very accommodating owner and friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and the location perfect. We were only there for one night as we were there for a family funeral but would definitely rebook.

Great location for a wedding at Castle Leslie. Andrew was accommodating with our later arrival time and also allowing us to check out slightly later. Was at hand if we needed anything and very friendly. Lovely little cottage stay!
