Hot water bottles on our beds too was very thoughtful for this time of year although the cottage itself has great heating. Excellent value for money

This property didn’t appear in our original search when I filtered for a couple plus an infant—but once I removed the infant filter, it popped up. And I’m so glad it did! The place was absolutely gorgeous. It was so spotless my husband was convinced we were the first guests to ever stay there. It took showing him 26 previous reviews to finally convince him otherwise 🤣 We chose this property because our plan was to explore beyond Galway, and having our own car made it ideal. The free parking right outside the entrance was a huge bonus—it made everything so much easier. We travelled with our 16-week-old son, so privacy was important to us. We wanted a space where his crying wouldn’t disturb anyone, and this place delivered. We also needed a kettle and microwave for baby prep, so the kitchenette was exactly what we hoped for. The bed was super comfy, and the bedroom was spacious enough to fit our travel cot (55x80cm) perfectly. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, which meant we could run the Owlet baby monitor and stream shows simultaneously without a hitch. And the shower—what a dream! We all know showers can be hit or miss, but this one was a definite hit: powerful, hot water all day long. The bathroom was spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable. All in all, this property made our mini honeymoon both relaxing and memorable. We’d absolutely recommend it—and we’ll definitely be back 💗

My stay here felt like a vacation within my vacation. One rainy day I stayed inside reading, drinking tea, and watching the light and weather change — it was one of the most memorable days of my trip! I also loved the cows, who showed up each evening around sunset to say hello, as well as the fox who would trot by occasionally and the birds. The host was very helpful, checking in each day by text to see if I needed anything.
